Please be informed that canvassing of the votes at the Philippine Consulate General premises will be on May 11, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., or immediately after the votes are counted.

Proccedings will end when all votes are canvassed.

Watchers are invited to attend for an orderly canvass.

The Philippine Consulate General in Macau SAR would like to inform members of the Filipino community that the voting of overseas absentee voters for the 10 May 2010 national elections will be held from 10 April 2010 to 10 May 2010. Filcom members may cast their votes at the Consulate General premises on the following schedule:

 

10 April 2010

8:00 am to 5:00 pm

11 April 2010  TO

9 May 2010

9:00 am to 5:00 pm

10 May 2010

7:00 am to 6:00 pm

 

All overseas absentee voters are requested to bring their passports or any valid proof of identification when they cast their votes.

 

 For information on the certified list of candidates for President, Vice President, Senators and Party-List Representatives and other election-related matters, please log on at www.comelec.gov.ph   Filcom members may also visit or email( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it )  the Consulate General to verify if they are included in the Certified List of Overseas Absentee Voters (CLOAV) or not.

 For the information of Registered Overseas Absentee Voters in Macau, Politicalarena.com (www.politicalarena.com.ph), a socio-political networking site that promotes voters education and interactivity in the local political scene, launched its Live Chat on 09 February 2010.  The said Live Chat allows voters to ask questions directly to the 2010 national candidates on issues regarding their platforms and others. The site will be hosting live chats every Tuesday and Thursday at the following timeslots (Manila time): 4:00 p.m., 4:45pm, 7:45pm, 8:30pm and will run until the last week of April. Each episode will run forty-five minutes. To participate in the Live Chat, registered members can simply log in and type in their questions addressed to the candidates who are online on that time.
